Radical Recruitment is partnering with a newly established early childhood centre near Turramurra to appoint a visionary Centre Director. This is a rare opportunity to lead from the ground up shaping the culture, educational approach, and team from day one. Backed by an experienced provider with a community-first ethos, this full-time role is perfect for a leader who thrives on autonomy, purpose, and high standards.

What You’ll Be Doing?

As Centre Director, you’ll have full ownership of daily operations and the long-term vision for the service. Your role will involve:

• Building and leading a strong, values-aligned team from scratch.

• Embedding best practices aligned with the National Quality Framework.

• Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and enriching environment for children aged 0–5.

• Managing rosters, compliance, enrolments, and family engagement.

• Cultivating meaningful relationships with families and the local community.

• Collaborating directly with the Approved Provider to shape a high-quality service.

• Acting as the face of the centre during enrolment tours and community initiatives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed?

We’re seeking a confident, visionary leader who brings:

• A Bachelor’s or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Centre Director or senior ECEC leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of NQS, EYLF, and relevant legislation.

• Excellent communication, decision-making, and team-building skills.

• A proactive, people-first leadership style.

• Completed child protection training and a deep commitment to child-safe practices.
