Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist / Key Worker

We’re seeking a Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist / Key Worker to join a passionate, multidisciplinary team helping children aged 0–12 reach their full potential. This leadership role offers the opportunity to mentor colleagues, deliver evidence-based therapy, and make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and their families.

What You’ll Be Doing?

As a senior member of the Early Intervention & Therapy Services team, you’ll:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and parent coaching using evidence-based approaches.
  • Support families as a key worker in communication, fluency, and social skill development.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of OTs, psychologists, physiotherapists, and educators.
  • Build meaningful relationships with families, schools, and community partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and support junior Allied Health professionals to enhance practice quality.

What you’ll bring?

  • Degree in Speech Pathology and current Speech Pathology Australia registration.

  • Minimum 5 years’ paediatric experience (0–12 years) and 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Strong understanding of child development and neurodiverse conditions such as ASD, Down Syndrome, and developmental delay.

  • Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and use of assistive communication technologies.

  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and ability to complete NDIS, Police, and Working With Children Checks.

  • Full working rights in Australia.
